UPDATE 29th July 2020: In light of the continuing Coronavirus, we’ve completely updated the SnowGuru apps with options to buy insurance from one of the only companies to offer COVID-19 cover as standard. The 2020/21 SnowGuru apps now include live snow conditions, weather forecasts, webcams, resort guides and roads / transfer info for each resort. SnowGuru brings you the mountain information you need most, dedicated solely to each resort. The apps are split into three sections: SnowGuru, ResortGuru and SkiRoadGuru.
SnowGuru includes:
- Latest snow report including upper and lower level snow depths, powder forecast, last snowfall, avalanche danger and trail and lift status.
- Detailed lift and trail info, weather by altitude, forecast for today and tomorrow, rain/snow limit, liaison information and summary of conditions.
- Detailed 24 hour and 7-day weather forecasts
- Live webcams from around the resort
- Full area piste map as well as maps split by sector to make viewing on mobile easier
- Recommended runs split by ability – beginner, intermediate, advanced
- 3D ski area video
- Emergency contact details
ResortGuru includes:
- Village maps: Detailed map of the resort
- Rated bars: The best bars in the resort
- Rated restaurants: The best restaurants in the resort
- Currency and Exchange: Live currency converter and updated exchange rates
- Amenities: Embedded Googlemaps for directions to local amenities
- In-resort shuttles: Timetables and routes for in-resort buses
- Resort contacts: Full contact details for the resort including social links
- Emergencies: Emergency contact numbers
SkiRoadGuru includes:
- Route info: Congestion and traffic flow maps
- Traffic updates: Live Facebook feed featuring updates from other users
