Day three trying wakeboarding, this time with two people that have done it before – Jade and Laszlo. As mentioned last time, I definitely wouldn’t recommend going for more than half an hour if you’re just starting out as this is a seriously tiring sport to learn and you’ll probably only last 30 mins if you’re riding alone. However, as we were a group of three, we took an hour.
If you’re just starting out, it would likely be a good idea to get some lessons. Unfortunately that doesn’t really happen down here so, if you’re learning in Tenerife, definitely watch some YouTube videos before going as the service offered by these guys doesn’t really cover much in the way of instruction. Then again, I guess you have to learn to stand up at some point and no amount of guidance is likely to make that part much easier.
