Most cycling enthusiasts would agree that the decisive moments of the Tour de France usually occur in the mountainous stages. The upcoming edition of the Tour will feature three gruelling mountain routes, including the legendary Mont Ventoux and culminating in a La Plagne Tour de France 2025 stage.
Following that challenge, the riders will embark from Vif, near Grenoble, to take on the formidable Col du Glandon. The day after, the race continues with a climb starting in Brides-les-Bains, leading to the demanding Col de la Loze situated between Courchevel and Méribel.
La Plagne final mountain stage of Tour de France 2025
The final mountain stage begins in Albertville and concludes with the riders tackling the ascent to La Plagne. This climb winds along undulating roads towards the Tarentaise Valley resort. The stage itself includes over 4500 metres of elevation gain, culminating in the challenging La Plagne climb.
