Going jetskiing Costa Adeje with Swiss Eddie in Tenerife. Much respect to him for doing this with a broken arm. If you’re on holiday in Tenerife, there are few more fun things to do than hiring a jetski (sometimes called jet ski). The main jetskiing centres and places to hire a jet ski are in the Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje, Puerto Colon and Los Gigantes areas of the island (though it may be possible other places too). Note, you may find this easier when the tide is lower. To get an idea of expected swell and tide times around the Costa Adeje / Playa de las Americas, visit this excellent guide with wave height split by time of day.
There is a jetski circuit in the waters across from Costa Adeje – however, we booked the 40 minute jetski safari which offered more time and distance. We also booked this as part of a package including parascending/parasailing and cost just 54€ each (done as a jetski tandem).
